None of the "reported" side effects mention hair loss (head, eyebrows & eye lashes), however, there are tons of HBP users who are suffering hair loss due to HBP meds, weight gain also--especially with beta-blockers. I am on blood pressure meds, and despite me losing 66lbs since April my BP is still in the good to higher range with the meds (which it was before I lost weight), so even losing weight isn't a guarantee for lowering BP unfortunately.
